Attention to Detail

Isn’t it odd how we forget the little details of our days. Things like waking up, brushing your teeth, doing your hair, eating breakfast – how these routinely things just pass our memory. They’re so insignificant that they don’t hang on to our memory like other important events.You won’t recall how today was different than yesterday unless something significant broke your routine. Maybe something like an unexpected phone call will make you remember Monday morning from Thursday morning. Think about how things were different last Monday in comparison to this Monday. Maybe we remember our life by events. Last weekend I went to a housewarming party. The weekend after this one, I’ll be attending a concert of my favourite DJ. But during the week I’ll be doing what I do out of routine. Attend class, read, eat, sleep. It is so habitual that I can even walk to class with my eyes closed, in a daze and still know that I’m going on with my day as expected.
